A new home often symbolises a new beginning, and that’s exactly what buyers Heather Comrie and Malcolm Campbell felt when they bought their first home together at Bancon Homes’ Kinion Place development.

The couple fell in love with the development, which is surrounded by countryside yet close to the new P&J Live arena and events complex, after viewing the show home.

Malcolm, who works as a maintenance mechanical technician at St Fergus and is originally from the Fraserburgh area, said: “What I like most about the area is the proximity to the city centre and being closer to our families.

“It’s very accessible to the rest of Aberdeen and the new AWPR which makes it easier for me to get to work, but it’s quiet and peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of city life.”

After searching for their forever home, Heather and Malcolm moved into a Cairnfield house type, a three-bed detached house with an integrated garage.

Heather, a clerical receptionist at RGU said: “We love the open plan kitchen and living room, which allows for more quality time together after the working day. It really is our favourite part of our home, where we can relax and unwind.

“The French doors leading into the garden was a huge selling point. The natural light makes the room feel bright and airy and it’s perfect for those warmer sunny days to enjoy both indoor and outdoor living.”

The house has three spacious bedrooms with generous wardrobes and a large en-suite bathroom. Designed with modern living in mind, storage options have been carefully considered around the home to maximise space and comfort.

Malcolm said: “We wanted a new build property as everything is hassle free and ready to move straight in to. It’s great being able to sit and enjoy the home as it stands without having to worry about what room to decorate first.

“I cannot express how much I would advise anyone to buy a new build property. In addition to the move being so quick and easy thanks to the staff at Bancon Homes, the features and finish are second to none.”

All Bancon Homes’ are finished to a high specification throughout and feature German Leicht kitchens which benefit from the latest technology in appliances.

The contemporary bathrooms have a luxurious feel in both the main and en-suite, having been kitted with luxury wall tiling by Porcelonsa.

Heather added: “We are so happy with our new Bancon home, it really has made our dreams become a reality.”

Heather and Malcolm are looking forward to their new life at Kinion Place, where they can make the most of the beautiful surroundings while benefiting from an easy commute.

Prices at Kinion Place currently start from £249,995 for a three-bedroom Thistle semi-detached house.

The Kinion Place Sales and Information Centre is open Thursday – Monday 10am – 5pm.
