Bob and Ailsa Thorp recently moved to Kemsley View which is set in the heart of Royal Deeside, in the popular village of Aboyne. Here they have been enjoying their retirement in the gorgeous countryside, making the most of their brand new home, local amenities and outdoor activities.
The couple who lived in Milltimber for the last 27 years decided to move to the Bancon Homes development in Aboyne due to its desirable country location, abundance of space and thoughtfully designed homes, after deciding to downsize and live closer to friends. Ailsa said, “Not only did we really like the design of this house, but we’ve been out to Aboyne a lot with cycling and our daughter got married out here last year. So we have met some of the local people and they were so helpful and friendly”.

Ailsa commented that the couple, “Both like cycling and have friends that cycle a lot. Amongst many features Ailsa and Bob commented that it was the size of the lounge, they really liked, along with the oak door surrounds. “Every other property we looked at has the white finishing, but we really like the wood, we find it much more attractive.
