We ask that you treat all employees courteously without abuse, harassment, or violence.
Our employees have the right to work without fear of being abused. Any behaviour that is verbal or physical, and causes our teams to feel embarrassed, abused, threatened or uncomfortable is totally unacceptable.
Bancon Group has a zero-tolerance policy which includes aggression or threats made in person, over the telephone or in written communication. Zero tolerance applies to all forms of communication regardless of where it takes place.
Bancon Group consider threatening behaviour to include:
- Attempted or actual aggressive threatening physical actions made towards any member of our team including touching, gesturing, pushing, striking, stalking and any unwanted intrusion of “reasonable space” of an employee. This also includes stepping in someone’s way to not allow them / block them to leave the situation or intentional use of any object towards an individual.
- The use of aggressive, threatening, or abusive language used with the intent of creating fear, distress or intimidation. This includes swearing and shouting or in written communication.
- Prejudices: inappropriate religious, cultural, racial, homophobic, or sexist insults or comments.
Any instances of physical abuse will be reported to the police.
Bancon Group reserves the right to stop communication with any client, customer, or contractor. Bancon Group also reserves the right to rescind any missives and resell any property prior to a date of settlement or take legal action where appropriate should any of the above occur.
This policy applies throughout the organisation.
