From Mintlaw to Aberdeen: Emma and Daniel’s Journey with Bancon Homes

From their first steps onto the property ladder at Aden Meadows in Mintlaw to their dream family home at The Reserve at Eden in Aberdeen, Emma and Daniel’s story with Bancon Homes is one of growth, family, and outstanding customer care. Now expecting their first baby and enjoying life with their dogs, Hamish and Chester, they shared their journey with us having lived in not one, but three new Bancon homes!

Starting Out: Finding Space to Grow

Daniel was living in a flat in Bridge of Don when Emma moved in during lockdown. Craving more space and the benefits of a new build home, they decided to purchase their first property together at Aden Meadows in Mintlaw.

“You get so much more space for your investment, and we really wanted a new build. Bancon made it easy to take that first step,” they explained.

A Hassle-Free Move with Part Exchange

Our Part Exchange service helped the couple smoothly transition from their flat to a house at Aden Meadows. It’s a service they’ve relied on for all three of their moves up the property ladder.

Over three moves, Emma and Daniel have been continually impressed by the quality of each Bancon home and the customer service received each step of the way.  

“We’ve had far fewer issues than you’d expect with new builds, and anything that came up was resolved within days,” said Daniel. “The customer service team, as well as Jennifer and Sophie, our sales consultants, have been fantastic. It’s nice to know Bancon takes care of things without any hassle.”

The couple also praised site managers Tim and Colin for their support. “Tim’s been great, and Colin was amazing too. They’ve made every step stress-free.”

Now settled in their spacious four-bedroom home, Emma and Daniel are eagerly preparing for their first baby’s arrival in March.

“We’ve got plenty of space and storage, and the nursery is almost ready. We’re so excited for this next chapter,” Emma said.
