How It Works

Step 1 – Choose Your New Home

Select the Bancon home you’d like to buy, and our Sales Consultant will confirm if it’s eligible for Part Exchange.

Step 2 – Share Your Property Details

Provide your Sales Consultant with details of your current home, including your expected price. A fully refundable £500 reservation fee will secure your chosen new home while we assess your Part Exchange options.

Step 3 – Valuation and Offer

Our Part Exchange Manager will arrange an independent inspection of your property by a firm of chartered surveyors. Based on their valuation, Bancon Homes will confirm whether your home qualifies for Part Exchange and make an offer based on a 90-day sale value.

If your home isn’t eligible or you choose not to proceed, your £500 reservation fee will be fully refunded.

Step 4 – Agreement and Marketing

Once both parties agree to proceed, missives for the purchase of your new home, including the part exchange of your current property, will be issued. After these are concluded, Bancon Homes and our appointed sales agents will begin marketing your existing property. You’ll need to allow reasonable access for viewings.

Step 5 – We Cover the Costs

All marketing costs, including the home report, property schedules, advertising, and estate agency fees, are covered by Bancon Homes. Your own solicitor will handle the legal formalities and keep us updated throughout the process. If you don’t currently have a solicitor, we can recommend one, and we advise obtaining a quote beforehand.
