First Home Fund to close to new applicants on Friday 2nd October at 6pm
Bancon Homes buyers hoping to take advantage of the First Home Fund have been given a deadline by the Scottish Government to get their applications in by Friday 2nd October. Following the significant number of applications received in recent weeks, the Scottish Government has advised that the 2020-21 scheme is almost fully subscribed. As a result, new applications will only be accepted until 6pm next Friday. Eligible applications will be approved and receive funding through the scheme. Any applications received after this deadline will not be accepted.

First Home Fund Extended for 2021/22
The good news is that The Scottish Government intends to extend the First Home Fund scheme for 2021-22. The Fund will re-open for applications due to complete from 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022 in the new year. Further details will be announced in due course.
